Castellan Escobert

Escobert the Red is the dwarven castellan of Greenest Keep and the captain of Greenest's local militia. A capable commander experienced in combat, members of the Greenest Militia often joke (never within Escobert's hearing) that the peacefulness of their sleepy village has driven their commander to an obsession with neatness and organization--an obsession that, so the story goes, manifested itself in the absence of real enemies for Escobert to direct his aggression towards. In reality, Escobert's insistence on keeping arms, discipline, and the keep in peak condition reflects the expectations of Rhunintelk's own military. Escobert simply refuses to allow any slack on the part of those under his command, be they hardened dwarven infantry or simple farming folk
