Sla-Mori
The immense fortress of Pax Tharkas was situated across the largest pass through the Tharkadan Mountains to the south of Qualinesti. It was once a great monument of peace among the humans, dwarves, and elves of this region, but it had fallen into the hands of the Highlord Verminaard and the Red Dragonarmy . The remains of the legendary elven king Kith-Kanan, who helped create Pax Tharkas, rested in ancient halls deep beneath the fortress. The elven royalty of Qualinesti knew of a valley near the fortress that led to a secret passage into those chambers. Gilthanas took the party through this passage into the Tharkadan Towers of the fortress.
There was a large room that had a chain in its center that slanted to the side of the room but climbed far out of a sight above. Upon closer inspection, the party found it to be a chain. Diesa changed into a spider, climbing this chain and finding it led to Pax Tharkas where she overheard Verminaard talking with someone who ended up being a traitor in Gilthanas' hunting group. Ember, the dragon, was in the room and noticed Diesa, torching the chain and causing it to break as the party fled. Sla-Mori is likely in poor condition after this.
