Dyson Moth

A Dyson Moth is a satellite (or more specifically, a statite) that circles the Sun⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ in geostationary orbit by means of a solar sail. There are thousands of Moths that comprise the Dyson Swarm⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ that is owned and maintained by TerrAstris⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣.

Design

The satellite is composed primarily of a large atom-thick graphite sheet, held out by large iron arms from a central core. The sheet can be up to a few kilometres in diameter. The graphite sheet absorbs the solar energy and uses it to keep the satellite afloat. The excess light energy is reflected directly into the core by an enchantment placed on the sheet; the sheet looks like it is glowing with similar intensity to the sun itself.
The core is an iron ring supporting a small, crystalline catalyst. When the graphite sheet diverts all of the light onto the catalyst, it grows Roz⁣⁣⁣⁣ crystals at the rate of one white crystal per hour. The crystals are retained in the core in storage areas, which are then picked up periodically by passing ships.
