V-262

V-262 is an asteroid in the Vokta Belt. It was colonised in 58 AFC, and currently houses a small colony of around 500 people, whose jobs range from agriculture to trade to scientific research.

Geography

V-262 is an ice-based asteroid, with no atmosphere. A 3 km diameter iron-reinforced plastic dome surrounds the colony on V-262, which is not aligned to a company. The colony use Phytocolonisation, a technique originally pioneered by Octachoron, to maintain a breathable atmosphere.

Natural Resources

The planet is composed entirely of ice. Some minerals can be found in the ice, for example nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
