Garret & Faye were both born together as twins, uncommon for elves, however during their birth, only one baby was present at the time of birth, a healthy baby boy.
While confused the parents took the baby home and would figure out what to do tomorrow. When tomorrow came the parents were met with even more confusion, their baby boy was
replaced with a baby girl instead of their son, thinking the worst the parents were despretely searching the entire forest near where they live, until the next day came and
they found their baby boy where the girl was left at. After several repeats of this the parents realized that their child was constantly being replaced with another baby
every time the day ended. At this point the parents were left upset as it is difficult for elfs to concieve children and after trying for children for more then 20 years this
is what they get.
Both Garret and Faye were ostracized by the entirety of the village even their parents. While they were both too young to understand why, they both felt that they had
done nothing to deserve their unfair treatment. So when they reached the age of 30 they abandoned their village and went off on a journey to find out more about their strange
predicament.
