Personal history

Takato lived a normal life with his parents and little sister, Mizuki. They also had a dog during his childhood. Although sometimes he didn't get along with his sister, he had a close relationship with Mizuki. The two watched travelers pass through town and shared stories together. In a typical day with Takato and his family, his mother would always watch the patrons milling in and out at lunchtime, and his dad would be at the bar when he didn't have work. Takato’s father owned the inn with Kuzuryu Tengen, father of Akane Tengen. He once managed to set a group of horses free from their mean-spirited owners; this act of kindness caught her attention, and this is why she admired him. Takato had a crush on her, but they never talked due to them being in different social standards, with her father being the owner of several different establishments, while his family did nothing but work day to day. Later, she left to learn how to be a bard. Takato had a home, normal friends, and a normal family. He was pretty much the textbook example of a normal villager. That was until he went to bed one night...
When Takato awoke, he was adrift in the middle of a river, flowing towards Neverwinter...
