Born Bealwel of Gildenvale, Bea (her preferred name) learned early on that hard work feeds the soul. As she grew in her home with her father as an Innkeeper and mother as a seamstress, she naturally fell to working in the stables. She started at a very young age learning to craft and create saddles and horse tack. From there, she found very quickly that she loved to craft beautiful and functional leather goods. Many came from far and wide to purchase her creations.
Being the only child of a busy Innkeeper, she also had to help keep the family fed. Her skills as a hunter became invaluable to her family. As business picked up, her family became a target of the seedy underbelly of Gildenvale. Being Aasimar and a very quiet people, Bea’s father did not fight when bandits overtook their inn and stables. When Bea spoke up, as her nature dictates, her mother and father were slain.
Having nothing and needing escape, Bea traveled North to the only refuge she could find, the Wardens Watch. Because Bea had a passion for ale and the crafting of beer, Silas offered her a place at the guild. Over time, she became an integral part of the team. Her ability to find and deliver secret news, create beautiful leather pieces, hunt and of course brew Silas’s favorite ale makes her invaluable to the Watch.
