Vampyre Legend of Elves
Among some of the oldest legends the Vampires can remember, there is a legend about the Elves.
This very ancient legend tells a tale back when the Zhethrh'ithar were doing experiments with trying to incorporate special racial abilities into their own genetics. As in the beginning there were only the three races in the world: Werewolf, Vampyre and Zhethrh'ithar. One of those awful experiments included altering vampires into a creature that was more acceptable to being controlled. As with most experiments, it went wrong and was a failure in the eyes of the Zhethrh'ithar but life always finds a way to survive.
The new life that was created being both weaker and inferior to the original vampires. They were at first used as slaves for manual labor and mindless tasks. As the experiment was labeled E.L.F. for (Ergastoplasm Life Force) due to them using protein synthesis for the bases of the project. The new life form was simply called Elf but, in the beginning, there was only one type but after many generations they started to naturally change to accommodate their different environments. After thousands of years of slavery these Elves became different from one another, the ones working deep underground in the mines slowly became Drow, those working deep in the forests became wood elf, some spending most of their time in the ocean became sea elf and so the different sub-races of elves were born into the world but mother nature doing what she does best.
This legend may or may not be true as it is even older than the oldest vampyre but it is a common belief among the vampires that the elves did in fact start life from the Zhethrh'ithar doing medical experiments with Vampyre DNA. This would of course perfectly explain why Elves today are as they are, including why that race has weaker vampire abilities like not having to sleep, beautiful features, being graceful, not being able to be charmed and their magic abilities in general including their long-life spans.
