Yozana was happy with life at the moment, but this was not always the case as she did have a certain knack for getting herself into trouble. When she was a small child, she was just one of the boys, as she quickly became one of the best tree climbers out of all of them. She was never too keen on hanging out with the girls playing with dolls and talking about boring stuff like how to do one's hair the right way. She found it much more interesting hanging out with the boys, getting into mischief and nosey around in places children should not. Her parents had lost track of how many times they grounded her for either ‘borrowing’ what was not hers or for snooping around into others' private affairs.
As she was a teenager, she was scouted and recruited by a woman named Tillie while she ran away from home ending up in Gildenvale making herself at least enough money to get by on. After she was recruited, so many opportunities opened for her as she quickly became one of Tillie's favorites. Yozana did not like violence, but she always found happiness in discovering secrets, accepting challenges and doing something that others could not do. Of course, anytime she could do something better than the guys was also an added bonus for her.
Traveling around the western area doing jobs for the "cause" and getting paid well, she eventually met a young halfling that she found most interesting. Unfortunately, she met this halfling as she was hired to procure some documents from him, but quickly came to the conclusion that she would not do this against him. She approached the young halfling explaining that there were others wanting to steal from him, due to this they quickly became friends. Being young they had thought the worst was behind them, but Yozana was banned from the shadow organization and her new male friend was assassinated as the replacement hire did not want to waste time doing it the hard way. She has some self-guilt over this turn of events, realizing that if she had done the job herself, he would have lived, and they could have still been friends to this day.
She relocated to Cullfield as it was in a gray area of which side controlled this small area, Rondo and Tillie or the ever-elusive dwarf in black that had a reputation for having a quick temper. Over the years she was able to build a small farm for herself where she takes pleasure in growing different types of pipe tobacco which her parents had taught her while she was still younger. The family business was farming, and her father was especially good at growing pipe tobacco, so she has taken up the family business while staying away from her family and any unwanted attention for those that lurk within the shadows. Even with living a fairly happy life and being thankful she was not taken out for disobeying direct orders, so does from time to time get bored and always remember fondly of her times causing mischief.
