Manalisk

Manalisks are large, concentrated crystals, seemingly composed of pure, crystallized magical energy. Magic users can utilize manalisks to accelerate the rate at which they recover mana while they're near it. The manalisks themselves are near-impossible to move, and once they're taken from their place, they lose all magical properties, becoming simple pieces of inert crystal. On rare occasions, smaller crystals grow from the ground at the base of a Manalisk, which can be harvested while retaining their magic propeties, if done properly. These smaller crystals, called Mana Needles, can provide a small temporary boost to an individual's Mana.
