Berduera

The Berduera are a string of several mountain ranges in Ondala . They generally run from North to South, and host the highest elevations in the world, including Great Mt. Khairas-- the tallest peak on Kyre, from which the Dwarves were said to be born. In many places the elevation is high enough for snow to exist permanently on its peaks, even right along the equator.

The terrain the mountains create is treacherous to cross, and often dry or prone to drastic changes in temperature. Over time, the mountain dwarves carved various roads and bridges to make travel easier. These plus monumental stone cities that blur what it means to be above or below the surface can be found all throughout the Berduera.
