Human
Take a jack-of-all-trades ability to adapt and add a deep need for connection--- You'll end up with something that looks a lot like a human. Up to a third of Kyre's populace is estimated to be human, either blending into local cultures of other races or boldly shaping their own societies. The best and the worst are among them, and they can be dedicated friends or foes.
Human cultures are so diverse because the people are unabashedly so. As individuals they are very defensive of their ways, whether or not they go against the grain of their established community. They are quick to band together under common ideals while other races generally need more time to organize themselves and take decisive action. This makes humankind notoriously prone to war and conflict, but on the flip side they are also quicker to forget grudges and forge mutually beneficial alliances.
They may be common, but it's foolish to underestimate a human. As a way to make the most of their relatively shorter time among the living, many humans show unparalleled ambition as pioneers, risk-takers, and other influential players in the world. They're quick to pool their resources, and consequently innovate together at staggering rates.
Additional Information
Social Structure
Humans tend to absorb elements of local traditions wherever they may be and show a great diversity of social structures. They may intensely value the nuclear family unit as a way to continue a part of their own short existence, or maybe specific lineages aren't nearly as important as the broader community. In all cases, they lean towards some form of hierarchy in which everyone has a role to play.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Most humans generally accept those they grew up around, as long as they weren't taught to label any particular people as "outsiders." Some xenophobic groups arise now and then, but humans on both a cultural and individual scale change so rapidly that these groups are exceptions to the rule and are often quickly shut down by other humans.
