Captain's Guild of Argate

The Captain's Guild of Argate is a confederation of the people who make a living on ships that call Argate home port. While called the Captain's Guild, membership is open to all sailors, although to have a vote you must command a sea-going ship. The Guild works to insure that all its members are taken care of, from operating a guildhall where members can stay if needed, to providing for medical costs and widow's payments, and insuring that shipping rates are fairly negotiated, and controlled.
