Horse Clan Names

Members of the Horse Clans have multiple names which are used based on the circumstance of who they are dealing with. There is a birth name, which is only used amongst members of their immediate clan. The next name they take is their clan name which is granted when they are able to ride a horse on their own for a full day. The third name they take is when they are accepted as warriors within the clan, usually around 14 to 16 years old. Then if they rise to a position of leadership either as the Khan or the Shidten, they take on a leadership name. If a Khan ever unites several clans and becomes the Khan of Khans, then they also take on a new name for that position.
