Qash is the meeting place for all the ranchers on their way south with their herds for market. it used to be the place where the southern buyers would meet and purchase the herds, and then drive them south themselves, but after several years of losing a significant portion of the herds on he drive, the buyers made the decision to have the ranchers drive the herd further south and move the markets there.
