Stroi

A town on the Waika River in the Barony of Qosx. It has grown over the years, but is still considered secondary to the capital of Srefs.
The town holds an annual drinking contest where you must carry your wife between two taverns at opposite ends of the town, and drink an ale while still carrying here, and the participants race back and forth until they drop their wife to the ground and then they are disqualified. The last man still carrying his wife is the winner. For several years the winner has been a local, Girdel Ban, but last year the contest was won by a merchant who had a halfling wife. The taverns are now rethinking the rules to require couples to be of the same race, but that has led to some angry words from some of the mixed families in the town.
