Zelradas of Záyírà
Zultana Zelradas of Záyírà is the young ruler of Zelcel, having taken over the position after her father's death. She is said by many to be the most beautiful woman in the Zelcel, and perhaps in the Empire. She is certainly sought after as a bride, for marrying her would bring instant fortune and power to the man able to win her hand. But rumors persist that the Zultana is no one's fool, and that she ruthlessly controls the land of Zelcel with a cold heart, and a colder dagger. On the night her father died, her mother drowned in the oasis of Zayirin, most say she could not bear to live without her husband's love, but other's whisper about seeing the young Zelradas follow her mother to the water and drowning her so as to secure her position as Zutana. There may be some truth to this as within weeks of her father's death, many other relative's with a claim to the robes of the Zultan died, or went missing.
