Count

A Count is a fuedal lord of middling rank within the continent of Eynor. While a commonly used title across the continent, the different Kingdoms have their own definitions of Count, so a Count of one land is not necessarily the equivalent to a Count of another.

In Tremany

In the Kingdom of Tremany, a Comte (male) or a Comtessa (female) is the hereditary land owner of a Comte, the Treman term for a County. Also occasionally used as a ceremonial title granted by the monarch to individual members of the Treman nobility that do not own a full Comte.

In Wexe

In the Kingdom of Wexe, an Eorl (unisex), sometimes spelled "Earl", is a high ranking hereditary land owner of a County or Shire. Also occasionally used as a ceremonial title granted by the monarch to individual members of the Wexan nobility that do not own a full County or Shire.

In Gruumanland

The Kingdom of Gruumanland, a Graaf (male) or a Gravin (female) is a high ranking hereditary land owner of a Graafschap. The Graafen of the Oestbergen Mountains are among the oldest noble Houses in all of Eynor, in many cases predating even the Great Empire.

In Vistilia

The republic states of Vistilia still use the term "Contecci" (unisex), which is close to the original world for a wealthy land owner as used by the Great Empire. Unlike the Counts of other nations, a Contecci is not a feudal title.

In Lloth

The enigmatic Kingdom of Lloth does not seem to use the term at all.
