The sea that hunts

That will work about as well as trying to swim in the basinDeep within the Badlands of Yulth, the last resonance event, left a Universal Tangent. The influence of the universe on the other side causes the spontaneous creation of hive-minded microscopic life which gather into a mobile conglomerate of purplish color which captures and consumes anything within it's grasp. The lake looks like a calm water basin with a slight purple tint. However, it is able to extend pseudopods stick to nearby unsuspecting prey, engulfing and pulling them into the main body to be diggested by the enzimes within. It is also known to extend thin tendrils to scout out the badlands in search of prey, or detach independent clumps with limited lifetime and autonomy to fetch said prey. Due to being generated by the influence of another universo, the Ravenous Basin does not actually need to eat, nor does its mass change from feeding (or indeed, being fed upon by Hulking Walkers). The reason why it hunts and feeds is unknown but may be due to an instictual base of the micro-organisms that compose it.
Geography
The Ravenous Basin looks and behaves like a water lake at first glance, as such it follows the contours of the land for the most part. It has a maximum detph of 1600 meters and an average surface area of 400 000 Km2, with a maximum length from coast to coast of 1 000 Km. These measurements tend to change slightly over the years as the lake tends to move under it's own power to a limited extent.
Fauna & Flora
The only known life form to live on the lake are the Hulking Walkers. Despite this, witnesses have claimed the existence of alien life forms under the surface, although these may just be victims in process of being diggested.
Natural Resources
Due to it's carnivorous nature no natural resources can be accessed within it. However, Oorgolians are known to trap small portions of the lake itself in metal containers to use as waste disposal.
Universal Tangent;
Hulking Walker
The relationship between the Oorgolians and the ravenous basin a peculiar one. On one hand the Basin actively hunts any Opisthokont life form in the area, including the Oorgolians themselves; while entirely ignoring even the most caloric of plantae. On the other hand, the Orgolians find a sort of catharsis in the act of disposing of their excrements into it.
