Psilofyr

The Spore Lord (a.k.a. The Carrion King)

Psilofyr is one of the gods of Selûne, representing a specific set of her traits. He is hospitable to travellers, and often appears in a fungoid form, though his form is wildly different each time. Many of his forms are dozens of feet tall, although his most well-known and most reused form is a 6 foot levitating myconid with a network of mycelia drifting behind him like a train. This form is blue-grey.   Psilofyr can be unpredictable and dangerous, but hospitality is very important to him. His main goal is to ensure the longevity and prosperity of myconids and mushrooms, though myconids are not known to exist on Ledrith (or anywhere, for that matter. Presumably, he creates them somewhere else).   The Spore Lord is not inherently violent, but has been known to use force to complete his goals, according to his myths and lore. He prefers to set up mushroom and myconid-based traps and ambushes, rather than attacking head on.   He speaks Common, Elven, and Primordial, but usually communicates telepathically.

Tenets of Faith

Mushrooms should be cultivated carefully and cared for.   Visitors to your home should be treated with hospitality until they are violent, aggressive, or disrespectful to you. Treat strangers with positivity until otherwise is necessary.

Holidays

The Spreading of the Spores - Ceathramh Sixth of Saith. Celebrated by, surprisingly, eating mushrooms and spending the day cultivating and looking after any mushrooms you are growing. If followers of the Carrion King are not currently growing any mushrooms, they should use this day to start some.
