Efainen (Eff-ay-nin)

God of Rules and Creeds

In Scripture

Efainen, daughter of Naimor, was gifted with his diligence in the written law of humanity, as well as the knowledge regarding the importance of creeds. She is depicted as Bailum's favorite grand child and the most stern of Naimor's daughters. She rarely gets along with her sister, Odina, but enjoys the company of Boralia. The three of them are often depicted as guiding angels to humanity, and it is by their blessing that the Saint's of the Augury are selected.   She was gifted a pair of wings by Odina, who was born with six. Boralia received a pair as well, as Odina values symmetry and beauty. Naimor, who highly valued his father's role in protecting humanity, taught Efainen as a way to maintain order. It would also give humans a creed of laws which they could abide by, guiding humans in the true meaning of justice.

In Worship

Efainen, like her sisters, is a highly valued god by scholars and her semblance can be seen in statues all throughout Saint's Maar. Lower class citizens in major kingdoms know of Efainen (and worship her) but have little reason to pay her mind over the Ohfjuren. Individuals that live in villages outside of kingdoms have rarely heard of Efainen.
