Summary

Ettermiddag is considered the dark era of Laminarim, with plague, famine, and natural disasters reaching every corner of the world. The population is estimated to have dropped anywhere from 50-70%, though census information was rarely collected at the time. Perhaps worst of all was the loss of documents. With chaos causing fires and few people to bother with preservation, the majority of books and records from history were lost in the Dark Era. Some consider it punishment for the brutal War of Eyiliv, while others consider it random chaos; the prior theory is somewhat supported, as Ettermiddag saw swathes of devils make their way to Laminarum.
