The White Letter
The White Letter was a correspondence sent from Mailes upon the first sighting of aggressive Constructs. A single courier ran all the way to Poueir and warned every village along the way. This letter resulted in a small militia force of Elves marching down to Mailes to support their Elf brothers and sisters.
"Brothers and sisters, heed our call. Mystics from the west march on our horizon and grow larger. Over the mountains they have crossed, for reasons unknown. Hide or prepare or cross the waters of Silse, before divine smite be brought to you. Do not forget what the beast of many eyes and tails brought us! We grow strong, but not even to the size of old Ghei Wyl. Silse damn us, do not damn yourselves."
-Unnamed Elf Scribe
A call to arms
Though the letter was meant to spare the other Elves from death, the people of Poueir were the first to raise arms. Through their march to Mailes, they inspired other (previously apathetic or fearful) villages to join them. This march is the perfect representation of Elvish sense of community and brotherhood.
