The slow, systematic death of the Western Syndicate's members.

over the course of two years, most members of the Western Syndicate died. Some were found strangled in their beds, some disappeared, and others died of illness. This is recorded historically as many consider foul play. Most of those who died had disagreed with Uliyo's desire to claim independence from Nim. By the time the Kingdom of Urale finally established, all members of the syndicate were deceased, even those that had agreed with Uliyo. The only survivor was Uliyo himself.   There is still room for many to believe these deaths were coincidental or did not occur at Uliyo's request. Uliyo was quite good friends with most of these members and had willingly used many resources to make them happy in their personal endeavors. The true answers behind these deaths may never be known.
