The vision granted to Haas Thinil from Chal Churdour, which would subsequently lead to recognition of the being by the Naga-Tel.
Seeking something that would benefit the Naga-Tel when the Quai would not provide, Haas Thinil starting consuming the tree-sand brought by the Strand-Bloods. Several visions granted her nothing more than euphoria or other drug altered states, which grew her frustrations with the Strand-Bloods for potential lies. However, Chal Churdour would speak to her and grant promises of divine purpose. Chal Churdour said that the humans had begun his spread, but were unfortunately insubstantial in their capability to traverse the marsh, in turn limiting his own potential. He wanted an empire of trees to blot the sky and shelter his people below. While he said that he had no intention of forsaking the Strand-Bloods, he recognized the Naga-Tel as a superior force, though working together would bring the two groups the most benefit. Chal Churdour promised that his spread would bring scorn to the Tara-Jhen for their superior ways and cruel dispositions. Further, he stated that the Quai would become a useless power under his reach, which would serve it proper for it's whimsical abandonment of any being it determines insufficient. Haas Thinil was not a cruel leader, but she knew of the hate that the Tara-Jhen bred in their existence. This had the potential to bring liberation to the Thanids and serve justice to the lizardfolk. Her main motivation at this point though was to eliminate the Quai, as it served for nothing put warfare. While she knew that she would rule kindly to all if she had the Quai, she could not guarantee that from a successor. The Quai would need to be eliminated for the safety of Mot D'nir.
