The complete submersion of Ravahinas after the redirection of water from a northern sea.

While Hamish had expected his ships to travel the marsh sufficiently, he had vastly miscalculated the effects of his actions. In fact, Taopin's Well had been recorded as a great deal larger around before the redirection of its water. Further, the dry lands at its center were not visible before either.   As for Ravahinas, they had prepared for an attack and finally believed it to be coming when they heard the waves at first. In fact, Abbot thought it to be marching. As the sound grew louder, she began evacuating the area. As they fled, the local soldiers shot them down with arrows, but eventually they grew the smarts to evacuate themselves. Haas Thinil could hardly be convinced to leave her caverns below and would have to fight against the incoming waves.   The walls were caved in by the waves and every standing house was destroyed. The caves were flooded and most of the people were killed by the force of the water or objects within it. It took days for the water to settle, and the Saltkrigere began patrolling the waters, day and night. Haas Thinil was found first, going through extreme physiological changes (similar to that of the Strand-Bloods themselves). She was sickly as well, but crazed enough to fight. They simply threw ropes around her and beat her down before holding her below deck as a prisoner. She would later be given to the Tara-Jhen for justice. Two nights after that, Abbot II was found ashore with 4 other Strand-Bloods. With no where to run, she was captured by the Saltkrigere as well.
