The first appearance of the new Kaban elder, Kanelkonatl, and a new species of Laminarum known as "Marsh Orcs."

Krakan Bower had largely stayed out of political events and interactions with the other races, though they did have the largest slave population. The boom in the most recent year was a result of overbreeding in Jerborg nearly 20 years prior. Krakan bower took the majority of the surplus with plans of expanding infrastructure, as well as hoping to become the center for Kaban slave trade.   During the city's yearly homage and observance of the Quai, their boom in the slave population became a concern. Roughly 30-50% of the citizens would be leaving to do their annual observance. For every 3 citizens, there were two Kaban slaves, but as a solution, there were select groups designated as "herders" that would keep the Kaban in their designated quarters until the month's end.   When the migration began, the Kaban fell into a trance and responded to no assertions by their herders. After three days, priests came to investigate and determined that, while alive, they would not exit their trance. As such, the bodies were carried and disposed of in the southeastern shore en masse. Upon dumping the bodies, a beast rose from the depths of the sea. The Kaban awoke but remained in a trance. Savage demons came from the sea and fought the Tara-Jhen on the side of the Kaban.   The creature, which stood over 2 stories tall, came to be known as Kadelkonatl. Its body is described as amorphous, but still capable of taking shape. It had two large tusks, wings, and eyes of fire. Its screech froze opponents in fear before casting them in flames.   After destroying much of Krakan Bower, the beast fled with its new brood to southern lands. No one would come to disturb the creature, but its presence gained much traction and inspired the Kaban to look beyond their "feeble" status.
