Military action
The push of the constructs beyond the mainland of Silse and onto Silse's Cendre and Veiel Ard Besme.
After hiding portions of materials for nearly 2 decades, the Western Syndicate realized that they had to push on the constructs. The threat had not increased yet, nor did they have the resources they needed, but it was getting harder and harder to hide what they had accumulated from Nim correspondents. As booking became unreasonable, Uliyo armed his men and marched north. Over the course of 13 months, the constructs were slowly defeated. There were almost no survivors on the Elvish side. The original force was 8000 of Gerron's finest; 107 men returned. They were tainted with malformations and were given honorary ceremonies, promotions, and then retirement in any Western region of their choosing. Those 107 men all died of illness within 9 months of their retirement. The names of all the soldiers are recorded on monoliths around the inner walls of Gerron. Uliyo and his family, naturally, did not take to the fields. The constructs, which were described to fight with light itself, were not considered a threat. They could not cross water, as was already known, and they only continued to live on the off-shore plateaus. Now that the threat was over, Feneyl knew he had avoided a potential war on two fronts. He communicated with his Western syndicate about declaring independence from the East.
