Juliana's sister (Felicia) was accepted into the Verani Education programme. Juliana was excited for her, but after a couple of weeks the letters from Felicia changed in tone, sounding less like her sister, and then stopped altogether. Juliana started asking around about other people whose loved ones had enrolled in to the programme, and discovered that they'd all lost contact. She ended up being approached by the People's Resistance and joined to try to find and liberate her sister
A member of the Peoples Resistance, Juliana was a member of the Order of the Hammer. She worked with other transmuters on construction projects, using their magic to shape and flow stone or crystal into buildings throughout the republic.
