Agentelle

A nation led by the Agentelle princes of the Istar dynasty. Though there have been kings, Agentelle is largely proud of their princesses more than their once princes.
It's symbol is a pink rose.

History:  The founder of the Istar bloodline and dynasty, Ishtar Istar 'the Black', was known to partake in the slave trade. The Istar dynasty has since abandoned outright slavery, such as seen in Aurin City and adapted chattel slavery. Unlike under outright slavery, many thrall families have served for ages, some even finding themselves satisfied with their position. Aside from this, she made it a fact that the Agentelle rulers had to prove themselves in combat with a selected champion from a regency council before they were granted power. The same champion could also be fought by siblings or other family members and allowing them to assume rule of the principality. Some tales of her as a 'warrior princess' have traveled even to the Alwynter Confederacy.
