Anchors of Alwynter

The ice fires across Alwynter.

Breaking them will unleash a unrelenting flood of the Frosted plane and that of the Almachi hordes. The Anchors keep the world of Alwynter chained to it's current state of being and keep it seperate from other planes. That is to say, that, as the Keepers of the Anchors have been taught, it keeps the world of Alwynter stable. Unable to be subject to radical changes, such as new creatures coming into being, the world itself warping, and to keep the Almachi; powerful, otherworldy entities away from influencing the world of Alwynter.
