The Dead Strait

The Dead Strait is the center-piece of a war long ago. It was once the land from which originated the Dead Kingdoms. These 'Dead Kingdoms' were lead by a necromancer duke, a lich king and a lady of the forest. A dryad. After 'The Scouring', where the Early Alwynter Confederacy purged the land and the warring nation with it the land was left desolate. It has been a long-running myth that the spirit of the dryad remained as the Ethereal Queen, and she now rules over the Dead Strait.
