This is what historians have been able to translate from the now mostly forgotten tongues of the area where these brave men and women came together to
overthrow their tribal leadership and create a
collective popular republic. This state is regarded by many as the second republic in all of the Western Continent, although most only agree on it being the first republic of the
Northern Peninsula. The
Equalitarian Popular Republic, better known as the "collective" by it's citizens, was an existing polity in the region we now know as
Peresheyek from around
580 BC to 400 BC approximatively. While, much like it's neighbours, it used written language very rarely, the declaration of the
E.P.R.'s foundation remains one of the most important documents of the
Late Iron age in the
Northern Peninsula. It shows that even in those times, the ideals of
Equalitarianism and assemby statal collectivization were popular amongst some of the people in that area.
