Jalabalma

The Jalabalma is the tallest mountain in the region of Mashriquia south of the Rudhanhalh River. It is the source for the second and shorter river in the Triangle of Prosperity, "Altimsharab". The Jalabama stands at 2300 feet and is part of the omonimous minor mountainchain in the south of its peninsula.
In the history of the Triangle of Prosperity, this mountain has been considered as the most strategic peak in the region. It is said that :
who controls the Jalabalma controls the Triangle
While many states and empires have followed this doctrine through time, some of the most famous empires (such as the Sertian Empire) of the Triangle have never tried going as far south , because the main population centers of the area where in the north (along Rudhanhalh river).
In Mythology and Religion, many gods and mythological beings have called the Jalabalma their home. Notable is Annaghi, god of the water, that was said to leave the constant stream of water to the humans in order to reward them for their right doings. Another divine entity of this mountain was the god of the Edema (a people closley related to the Mashriquians that lived in the area near the mountain and along the Altimsharab river) , who thought the mountain itself was a divine being, and that it could create tempests and thunderstorms that could kill the people that didn't sacrifice their best parts of the harvest. Below is an image of a sculpture (a more recent copy of it) dedicated to rapresenting this divinity:
