Merisotan Conquest of Mesed 538 BCE

In the morning of the 8th month of the year the Merisotan Army landed on Mesed's shores and asked to see the king. The Mesedian army that was stationed at that port didn't like the idea of foreign armies landing and asking to meet the king, and so a skirmish occured, where they fought the great Merisotan Army. Of course the Mesedian militia was absolutely annihilated after the disastrous loss.
Mesed and Merisota where technically two countries that shared the same ethnic group, as Merisotans where Mesedians that left the original caravan one century before their arrival to Merisota. For over 120 years the Mesedians considered Merisota an insignificant rump state, that was only useful as it traded the goods of Alierum (mainly jewels and other minerals, as the Merisotan mines were reknown across the entirety of Pascuit). But after Merisota defeated Alierum twice and conquered it completely in the span of 50 years (https://www.worldanvil.com/w/lands-of-honor-italian-p26c/a/merisotan-alierum-wars-militaryConflict?preview=true), the Merisotan King, Petro, now known as the Conqueror, was convinced that he could become the king of both Mesedian cultured nations.
Petro proposed that the king of Mesed let him lead the country,  as Mesed was in a place of decay. The King of Mesed didn't pay any attention to leading, he was always "sleeping in his bedroom and eating all the food he could eat". When proposing this to the heir of Mesed, he fastly agreed to the Merisotan king. Peter was not even relieved, he was quite shocked at how absolutely dumb the original motherland of his people had become and how Merisota could have lead it from the start.   So, the king of Mesed was aloud to keep his wealth, and he retired in his villa in the hills of inner Mesed. And from that day, Mesed and Merisota were united as a single country.
