Messemite-Merisotan War

After many hostilities between the Merisotan Empire and the post-Hittamite collapse states, Ilakandr, Khan of the Messemites, set foot on Merisotan soil taking over parts of South-West Merisota. He captured the major city of the region but indirectly caused the formation of resistance militias in the area, making it contested.
February of 345 AD: Alexander captured a whole army from Merisota, making it the largest Merisotan loss since the siege of Zekabria. The Merisotan army held them off for a while, waiting for reinforcements, making the siege last for a whole 6 months before getting overrun. This event is known as the "Siege of Nodinum Fort"
September of 345AD: The Aliereum Kingdom, another post-Hittamite state, Declared war on the Messemite Khanate, and captured some villages in the south. Thanks to this distraction, Merisota reclaimed the town of Viccen, threatening the stationed army of Alexander while he focused on Aliereum Kingdom.
Aliereum managed a breakthrough threatening the Messemite capital. The response of the Messemites is a Northwestern Advance that succeeded, but the lack of supply threatened the whole army since much of south-western Merisota was Barren and uninhabited. This is also why Merisotan Army had a hard time recapturing the whole province. Messemite Soldiers then had to retreat due to the Merisotan Counterattack, signing a truce with Merisota. Finally the Aliereum Kingdom captured the Messemite Capital.

346 AD: Signing of Peace and End of the Southern Wars
