Mosran Expansionist Campaign
War / Conflict
Introduction
The Mosran Expansionist Campaign covers a series of conflicts in which Mosra grew from being a small regional kingdom to be the ruler of the entirety of the Norstan region and areas near it. Mosran tradition attributes to the Mosran kings the first war against the Pagans and the first conquests around the Shiqar region and down to the strait of Arshnelia. Background
After the birth of the Second Mosran Empire after the overthrow of the Zarrishian controlled Mosraic state in 523 BC, Mosra and its allies began a series of major wars between the Cysetian kingdoms and the Pagans. In 518 BC, Cysetians from Armatara officially entered the war. This marked the starting date of the Mosran Expansionist Campaign.Process
Conquered territories were incorporated into the growing Mosran empire in a number of ways: land confiscations, the establishment of new governed states, granting of full or partial Mosran citizenship and military alliances with nominally independent states (only given to the Cysetian population). The successful conquest gave Norland access to a manpower pool unrivaled by any contemporary state on the eastern region and paved the way to the eventual Roman interference of the entire Eastern world.Aftermath
By the end of these wars, Mosra had become the most powerful state in the Norstan region and began to expand to the north and to the south. The last threat to Mosran supremacy came during the Arshnelic Strait War (484-473) when Parehai enlisted the aid of the eastern city-states to fight off invading Mosraic forces. The Mosrans in Parehai was finally crushed in 473-472, the same year the First Masruh Wars ended which began and brought Mosraic forces into Mashriquian lands for the first time. fulma02 / Norland — Yesterday at 9:45 PM FluffyFox if you dont mind i mentioned you here Establishment of IrystonystanRemove these ads.
