The Lassorian Civil War
Revolution
The Lassorian Civil war was a conflict between the Communist party of Lassoria, founded in 1944 ADE, against the newly independent Lassorian Republic.
The war was spent for almost 28 years in a state of minor insurgency in the region of Northern Bangayugan , where it was started when a soldier fired a shot against an officer of the Lassorian military, and it maintained this minor revolutionary-yet not full conflict until 1990, where the Communist insurgency spread throughout the entire Eastern Island of Lassoria.
By 1991, the entire country had fallen in Civil war, with the Communists holding the majority of the land of the Republic.
So the newly elected leader Corinne Corona declaring a state of total war in March 1992, calling for the state to lend her military emergency powers.
Through multiple tactical bombings and strategies of anti-guerilla tactics, the tides of the Civil war were turned when the Communist party decided to retreat in the jungles of Bangayugan (both North and Proper) Following the disastrous battle of Marsh Hill, in Northern Pilapil, where over 200'000 soldiers lost their lives.
In 1995, as the war had by then became largely guerilla workers, a tactical bombing by Colonel Corinne brought to the end of the war.
The Lassorian Civil War was a struggle between the Republic of Lassoria (founded in 1900 ADE) and the Lassorian Communist Party (formed in 1944 ADE).
The Lassorian Communist Party was created in
middle of the 20th century ADE as a
force against Handridge Astodio. They
failed on their attempt to overthrow Astodio when
Marco Vilano overthrew him in
1945.
They
started revolting in
January 1, 1962, the war was spent
for almost 28 years in a

The civil war at its peak in 1991, by then the
entire country had fallen in Civil war, with the
Communists holding the majority of the land of the Republic. When the
Paramoult Administration failed to rally it’s army around, it
costed them the election.
In
March 1992,
Col. Corinne Corona, an army colonel,
was elected President, and
declared the Civil War as full-scale, gaining special military emergency powers to contrast the rebellion.
She claimed to National TV, that :
"Because of the several failures to contain the communists from expanding deep into Lassorian territory, Fort Venir is in imminent danger, thus opening the fact that this is the Lassoria WE are currently facing, and a formal war shall be declared on the Lassorian Communist Party."
In 3 years in the full-scale war with the Party;
Corinne,
using the air force, the
navy, and the
Lassorian Elite Guard alike to use
counterattacking tactics against
the communists, and through multiple
tactical bombings and
strategies of anti-guerilla tactics,
the tides of the Civil war were turned when the Communist party decided to retreat in the
jungles of Bangayugan (both North and Proper)
Following the disastrous
battle of Marsh Hill, in Northern Pilapil, where over
200'000 soldiers lost their lives;
Thus pushing them deep into desupplied areas.
In 1995, After Corinne paid 600 wood workers to plant bombs in several forest bases of the Communist Party, causing a tens of thousands of deaths,
The leader, Ka Yalco Sanchez, declared unconditional surrender of the Lassorian Communist Party, thus
ending the Lassorian Civil War.
Ka Yalco was condemned to the death penalty and his commandants were sent to 10 years in jail. He is to be the
very last person ever to suffer from Lassoria’s death penalty.
