Collapse of Campeche Republic

Political event

1952
9/2

The Republic of Campeche, one of the newly founded republics of the post war era, had suffered immensly over the trade embargo of the nearby assembly statal republics. This economic downfall caused it to collapse into different states. The biggest of which were the Democratic Republic of Rasjadia in the south (Left leaning) and the Kingdom of Campeche in the North (right leaning).

Struggling and disunited, the Republic of Campeche finally collapsed and dissolved into it's former provinces, each taking a path, some of them in mutual allignment and others in hatred.

Naturally, foreign powers intervened, the Right leaning influenced the North, and made those goverments Right-Leaning, even restoring the former royal family to power at Campeche, but now under a constitutional regime, while Left leaning powers intervened in the South, supporting authoritarian regimes in exchange for the control of the ideology of their countries. The Southern Authority (Democratic Republic of Rasjadia) is completely at odds with the north, and has been fighting it in a cold war type situation for years.
