The Feathered King

In the beginning of recorded time in Nehwon, a man appeared in Myth and Legend in the world of Nehwon. Much is known of this first king of Nehwon and Lankhmar. He bound the many tribes of Nehwon, bringing written language, art and culture to a very wild land. There is no writings' of where he comes from, only legends and myths'. Some myths say he walked out of the desert, others say he arrived on a sky silvery chariot, but all agree he was not alone. He arrived with a group of 13 with him. The writings say he was the leader of this small group. They brought with them civilization and technology unknown, possibly magic. All the current kings of Nehwon trace their linage back to this one man. The first King was no normal man, for He was the King for millennium. His rein ended on his death, which was far from normal. You see he was murdered by his brother, know as the Basilisk.

Summary

The first king of Lankhmar, was a god, a man and prophet. He was only a god in the sense that his magic or technology was so unworldly, that it didn't seem real. The books are full of examples of devices used for different ways of travel. Weapons and communications devices that did terrible and amazing things all at once. He lived more than a thousand years, this is not unusual for some of the races. Qaurmallians and Elf are both long lived races. But he seemed to be a man. Qaurmallians thought he and the 13 were like them, an elder race. The Elf didn't seem to care as long as he didn't interfere with their plans. He did try to stop the Elves from destroying the Qaurmallians, but the Qaurmallians only had hate for the Elves.
