Unicorns

Unicorns are famed as guardians of forest and other types of wild places. They are also renowned for their purity and, as an extension of this trait, having healing powers.
These very intelligent and virtue-committed beings resemble white horses with a 60 cm (2ft) long single horn and white, silvery, golden, silky gray long manes. They can talk but, since they came from the upper planes to aid and support the feeric and silvan races of the world, they haven’t developed their own language. Instead they speak sylvan. Other than healing wounds and purifying toxins, unicorns can acquire and develop a limited teleportation, among other mystical powers and they go to great lengths to identify and persecute evil.
Although most of them are tasked with or prefer to protect a particular natural area, some unicorns take this mission more broadly and roam the lands to guide their healing and/or to eliminate evil forces. Unicorns and fire lions often recognize and further develop a kindred-ship with one another when they meet.
