Servants carried platters of meat and bone to the pit, remnants of Slagel's enemies. The Geylam absorbed all that was offered. As a child of Slagel and the Chosen Sludge, the pale white slime mindlessly completed its sacred duty.
The Geylam grew at a constant rate as long as it was provided material that it may purify with rot. When the Geylam reaches a large enough size, its servants will harvest it, dispersing its cuttings to its many siblings, fellow children of Slagel.
The time was near, as the Geylam was plump with decay.
