Dragon

Dragons are some of the most powerful creatures that rule both the sky and the earth, feared by all the races that it comes upon. It requires a group of powerful adventurers to take down a dragon, and they sometimes don't succeed. However, most of the dragons that populate Ver D'nor want to be left alone to sleep on the hoard of gold that they've accumulated over the years. Travelers and villagers will sometimes take an offering to a dragon in seek of trading it for another treasure, knowledge that the dragon might have, or any of the spells that a dragon possesses.

Genetics and Reproduction

Dragons usually only seek other dragons to mate with, however they have also mated with Humans and elves.

Growth Rate & Stages

Dragons can live for about 3,000 - 5,000 years old. However, if the dragon attempts and achieves lichdom, that dragon would live forever as long as it kept feeding souls to its phylactery.

Ecology and Habitats

Dragons often live in caves, or old castles. They live in enclosed spaces so as to hide and store their treasure.

Domestication

Dragons cannot by domesticated, even at a young age.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

After the death of a dragon with no heir, their entire fortune is left behind. Also, dragon bones are used for armour, and dragon horns fetch a high price in any market.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Dragons can live anywhere, but they prefer to live in places with less people. Unless they're an evil dragon, in which case they'll probably live in the most habitable place for a dragon.

Average Intelligence

Dragons are very intelligent, possibly more intelligent than the Grand Elves.
