Structure

Chief Elder

The Chief Elder leads the Elders, Initiates, and Children of Ebba in their traditions and their gifts to the forrest. They decide when and how much is sacrificed to the Mother Tree as well as who is ready to ascend from Child of Ebba to Initiate and so on. The Chief Elder position has been passed on through generations and is always someone chosen from the five main houses of Ebba; The Aastanali, The Nosferatu, The Ajal, The Shigaraki, and The Marwood.
The current Chief Elder is Fibbian Aastanali. He reigns from one of the oldest families in all of Ebba. The first Aastanali's founded Ebba in the year 1000 B.C. and have reigned as Chief family for the last 5 generations. It is assumed that the next chief in line will be Fibbian's daughter, Marishka and so on...

Elders of Ebba

The Elders of Ebba are responsible for carrying out the will of the chief and the will of the forrest. They handle the organizational responsibilities of their land and people. The Elders decide when Children become Watchers and who may become a candidate for Elder Initiate.

Elder Initiate

These individuals have excelled in the ways of Ebba and are called to be initiated into the fold of Elders. They demonstrate a strong commitment to the Mother Tree and all she protects. They excelled during their Watcher duty and uphold the many traditions of Ebba.

Watchers

When a Child of Ebba comes of age, they are put on Watcher duty to protect their homeland from outsiders and those who would seek to harm the forrest. Many foolish outsiders are lured in by the forest's many wonders, but are quickly killed before they can learn too much. Watchers who show compassion to those lost in the wood often do not move on to Initiate status and find their place with the bakers, farmers, smiths, or healers of the land.

Children of Ebba

Every being born in the Ashwood is a Child of Ebba. The Mother gives them life and the Mother protects them. All that is asked in return is that they never leave the Ashwood and uphold the Traditions of Ebba.

Public Agenda

The Elders wish to preserve and maintain Ebba. To keep it safe while also prevent it from growing out of control. There are other who wish for Ebba to thrive as it once did before the Calamity. They wish for it do have no bounds and to thrive where it wishes...
