Artificing is the act of wielding and using an artifact, created by a conscious species. An artifact is an object crafted by the hands of an Artisan and inscribed with characters from the Phathek library to imbue any object -- complex or mundane -- with an amount of power from the Kozh. Phathek is the language spoken by those who practice in any Artifact-related field, and every word and character has some innate power, spoken or written. This is what the Land Beneath Gods is entirely powered by, the reusable energy produced by the original rotting of the corpses of Kozh, the 16 gods who created and conditioned life and the world, as well as the universe at large. After all this, you know barely anything about the rest of the world. The people that live here, the culture of every species and branch of life, the history that makes 5,000 metre high skyscrapers a normal occurrence. You know nothing about how dirty a smith's hands get when creating the body of an artifact, or the entire culture of artisans keeping their hands clean and soft, so they can feel the pulses of each of their creations. You don't know about the laws, or the magic, or the entertainment, you don't even know what anything here LOOKS like. That's what this is for. I want to teach you about my world, and I want you to feel like you are a part of this world that I'm creating. So come and see what we come up with in this world of magical science powered by a near infinitely sized pantheon. I hope to see you all soon! Nol knolyth.
