Changelings
The world is not a just place. Sometimes, when a human is desperate, they turn to devils. Sometimes, the devils answer. And sometimes, the human decides that instead of sacrificing themselves, they will sacrifice their future - a child that did no wrong.
Changelings are the result of a deal with a devil that sacrifices one's child. When the child is born - and sooner or later they are born - there is a black, oily mark on their skin, the exact location of which varies. This brand identifies them as the devil's own property, and on the day it disappears the pact is complete - the child is gone. Then what is standing in front of you, wearing your child's face? That is a question many cannot answer, and in their despair many evict their 'children', leaving them faceless, formless, without lives. Some feel such overwhelming guilt that they go the other way, becoming overbearing parents who lavish their 'replacement' as much as possible. Whatever happens next, the child is gone - and none have learned what fate awaits them.
Changelings' true forms are often ramshackle and made of iron, the material of the devils. As creatures touched by the Dwellers Below, they bear an innate sensitivity to iron, which recognises the handprint of a devil and will attempt to reforge them into their original form. This process is excruciatingly painful, and generally considered distracting from whatever the changeling is trying to do.

Steal Identity: You can use an action to alter your appearance to match that of a target living creature you can see within short range. The target must be Size 1 or 1/2 and have a humanoid shape of flesh and blood. Your body changes so you look like the target, though your clothing and possessions remain unchanged. The effect lasts until you use this talent again. If you become incapacitated or touch an object made from iron, you immediately revert to your normal appearance.
Expert Changeling
Upon reaching level 4 as a Changeling, you either learn one spell, or gain Shapeshifter's Knack. You also gain 5 Health.
Shapeshifter's Knack: You can use a triggered action on your turn to use Steal Identity. In addition, you gain a boon to all skills the target was familiar with, and to bluffing all interactions with individuals the target was familiar with, no matter how unlikely it is that you will act correctly.
