The Sturdy Anvil
"As you approach "The Sturdy Anvil", you are immediately struck by the sight of the various armor pieces on display in the windows. Some of them are decorated. Others are cheaper looking and dented. The shop itself is a small, but sturdy stone building with a sign above the door bearing its name in bold handwritten letters.
As you step inside, the rich smell of leather, metal, and oil fills your nose, and the sound of metal clanging against metal echoes throughout the space. You are greeted by the sight of racks upon racks of armor pieces, ranging from chainmail shirts to full suits of plate armor to lighter wears made of fine leathers.
The walls are lined with weapons, shields, and helmets, all polished to a gleaming shine. A large workbench dominates the center of the room, with various tools and supplies scattered about its surface. Behind the counter, on a nearby anvil, the owner himself, that you know to be Jaban Ajeck himself can be seen tinkering away at a particularly intricate piece of armor. With each strike of his hammer, you see sparks fly away from the anvil. Its hot in here. Beads of sweat begin to form on your eyebrows and forehead.
Despite the clutter, everything in the shop is neatly organized and labeled, making it easy to find what you are looking for.
In addition to his extensive inventory, Jaban also offers a unique service for travelers. A sign near the entrance advertises a "drop off service," where customers can leave their armor or weapons with Jaban to be sharpened, repaired, or improved.
Overall, the atmosphere of Jaban Ajek's armorsmith shop is one of craftsmanship and quality. The shop is both functional and inviting, with a sense of pride in the work on display.
Jaban himself is a burly man with calloused hands and a warm smile. He sets down his hammer, and you are greeted.
"Good morning. How may I be assisting you?"
