Torix Emerald

A thin man who came from a powerful mining family in Orinn that had been on the decline. Despite being known as a purveyor of the dark arts and an overall eccentric the people still viewed him as a leader due to his family lineage and him at one point being a man who looked out for his city. He took his own life during the Missing Person's incident, a crime he was behind, as a way to complete the ritual he was performing in a last ditch effort. Before his death he also managed the Orinn city guard.

Demise of the Faithful

Four people had gone missing in Orinn, initially people thought that Lord Diego was behind the incident as the victims were all people who had wronged him. However it was later revealed that this was intentional as Torix wanted to frame him, his goal being to retake control of the mine that he had previously sold to the Van'Til family. The party discovered that no longer had Torix kidnapped these people, but he also killed them to perform a ritual to the God of Lies, Cyric. The party cornered him the day before the ritual would have been completed but were unable to stop him to take his own life as the last sacrifice needed to perform it. In doing so he summoned a Brain Eater, though the party was in the end able to defeat it.
