Shine-Hammer

This sentient weapon was created during The Eternal War by a group of dwarfen smiths led by their mad wizard. Shine-Hammer was a hammer made of pure gold, imbued with expensive gems and infused with a spirit of the weave. It was given to the king as a symbol of honor. With time the king fell into madness and greed to the weapon which ultimatly led to his demise. With that the weapon was locked deep into a dwarven cave to never see the light of day again.
By wielding the hammer the user made a pact to the spirit and in return got some of the spirits power. The user could also change the type of the weapon into another one, that to made of gold.
