Burning of Battvia Church
Disaster / DestructionA churhc in the town Battvia, in the middle between Mordil and Aduralin, was burned by mages. During a cermony, which above 250 people were gathered, a fire mage set fire to the church and an earth mage blocked all exits with rock walls. Then they together used wind magic to increase the fire. 263 people, including children and eldery, was burned allived in the incident. The mages was both Grand Mages from The Academy of Higher Magic and te event created a hatred in the local area for the remnants of the academy. According to the 2 grand mages they did it in rage after they had overheard some locals talking about how the Third Disintegration was a good thing and that the mages deserved it.

Mage Burn Week
Disaster / DestructionIn retaliation of the Burning of Battvia church many people in the holy land begun to hunt mages from the academy to either imprison, torture or kill them. In 90% of the cases the mages were burnt. The the first mage burning happened before 26th of january and the hunting and burning continued far after the first week, but it was during that week it was as most intense. After that most mages had fled, hid or died. Some had unsworn their loyalty to the academy and became mages in work for the holy land instead.
